Abigail Cheverst has been working in the field of community arts and Health and Safety for over eight years. Over this time she has held responsibility for Health and Safety at a variety of festivals and large outdoor events, including Colchester Free Festival, a 20,000 capacity event which she coordinated.

Abigail is NEBOSH qualified and is a Technical member of IOSH, the UK Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. She is accredited to deliver training courses with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

As well as working for four years for 'Sound Sense', the UK development agency for community music, Abigail has done a variety of training, consultancy and freelance project management work. She has worked with schools, colleges and universities, councils, charities and community groups.
